Cognos Background Effects

Have you seen Background effects in property list of any Cognos object (chart, table cell, ...)? Have you tried to use it? I tried it several times with no success. Finally I found a clue. At first you must set fix size of the object by setting fix width and hight. Very nice Cognos behavior :-) I love Cognos programmers :-)

The background effect is rendered within the rectangle area that bounds the object. To use a generated background in a chart, the chart must have a fixed size.

Background effects are rendered only if the data container has a fixed height and width; if a percentage size is used, the effects are ignored.
